Manic Monday

Dear Mom, 

GAH! Its monday! I am trying to enjoy it, but it is crazy as ever! I got up at 9 to finish a paper, start another one,  shower, get ready for class, go to class, do my office hours, go to a meeting, and FINALLY coming home to nap and then its off to work in a short while ! AHHH! INSANE schedule! BUT, I get to do a training on conflict and mediation on wednesday for CAs, SO i am SUPER PUMPED for that :) Otherwise not much is really new! Hope all is well!

Today is a day :)

Dear Mom! 

Today was quite a day, had classes all day, projects going on, meetings, homework and FINALLY got a nap in at 9:30 only to get up about an hour later to go to work (which is where I am now ! ) I am working in Mitchell Hall tonight (I am normally in Stearns) and I have run into the Stearns kids that are "personally offended" that I am not in Stearns..they jokingly called me a traitor! haha it was really funny! :) its great to feel loved :) 

How is life? I miss you! It was great to chat with you for a few minutes on monday...this past weekend was kinda crazy :( it was "homecoming" we all celebrated even though homecoming was taken away ! :) it was a very, interesting night, to say the least...lets just say that people showed their true colors..but I am moving on and am excited to do that :) (it definitly NEEDED to happen so its like a blessing in disquise!) ill explain later if you remind me :)

p.s. I am turning in my graduation application in tomorrow and I looked it up, and I only have 18 credits left after this semester... :) 

also, got a 75% on my math test :) WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO ! its going to be a great week :) 

Day 2

Dear Mommy,

I worked til 6am with Ash last night. It was fun. I colored a lot of turtles, turtles were the only thing I could draw a few nights ago. I went to bed at 6:30 after brushing my teeth and fell asleep watching a movie. I got up and went to class (insert pride here.) Math was good, I did the whole exam practice packet with no help! I was very excited! I watched a movie in my rhetoric class about a 4 year old who could paint abstracts, but I don't think she really painted them, her family is lying. Her name was Marla, poor girl. I am now sitting in my kitchen with the kitties and Laura, Maggie and Alyssa. It is fun. I found a photo booth online, I will be having it at my wedding. Please start saving for that. Thanks mom. We are having a party tonight, it will be fun to sit and chill with some girls. It has been a great day. I am doing my math test soon, but no worries math is going great this year. Katie helps me all the time :) I love you, be awesome today, as usual.

Sorry I am so random and like a 4 year old today...it is just my mood (you know me very well by now!)


p.s. i had a dream where maggie drove 100 mph in a 25 zone and flipped it in reverse. VERY SCARY.

Day 1

Dear Mom,

I am at college and am enjoying my apartment :) Today was quite slow, yet quick! I went to class and listened to a guest speaker on Conflict Coaching, got to ask questions and it was fairly interesting. I went to the meeting for Conflict Resolution Services and was told that I should be president...that would be great experience! So I might go for it :) I am writing a speech right now for the forensics team on names and culture, its really fun! I work tonight from 12 to 6, so I have been relaxing all tonight and just "laying" around :) Merkel (one of Ash's friends from Studying Abroad) came over and cooked us spagetti & garlic bread...it was DELICIOUS :) That was pretty much the exciting thing for the night :) Everyone is doing great and we are loving life (besides the homework thing!)
